File Your 2019 Kincade Fire Claim with Abbey, Weitzenberg, Warren & Emery
Yet another fire which appears to have been caused by PG&E has ravaged our community. The Kincade Fire began at or about 9:24 pm on October 23, 2019, in The Geysers when it was reported that a 230,000-volt PG&E transmission line failed near the point of the origin of the fire, just before power was about to be shut off in the area. Tens of thousands of people were evacuated, and ultimately and sadly over 77,000 acres burned. After threatening over 90,000 structures potentially in the path of the fire, the fire was largely contained by the time of this writing, thanks to incredible work by first responders from all over the country. The fire was the largest wildfire ever to occur in Sonoma County. Unfortunately, many Sonoma County residents were affected, as 434 structures, including over 100 residences and businesses, burned as a result of the fire.
