Kaitlyn D. Wright has been an attorney with Abbey, Weitzenberg, Warren & Emery since passing the California Bar Examination in 2022. Kaitlyn’s practice focuses on plaintiffs’ litigation including cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, automobile defect, product liability, auto crash, truck crash, pedestrian crash, bicycle crash, premises liability, and medical malpractice.
She has worked for the firm since October 2021, during which time she assisted with California Wildfire litigation. In her first weeks as an attorney, Kaitlyn sat second chair in a successful Sonoma County jury trial.
Kaitlyn graduated from the University of California, Davis, earning her B.A. in English and Communication. She attended Empire College School of Law where she graduated Cum Laude, receiving both her J.D. and her Masters of Legal Studies. During law school, Kaitlyn participated in the Environmental Negotiations Competition in San Francisco and took part in the Elder Law Clinic and the Family Law Clinic at Empire College.
After graduating from U.C. Davis and while attending law school, Kaitlyn worked full-time for the San Francisco-based company, Social Finance “SoFi”. For six years, her time at SoFi consisted of publishing company policies and procedures while adhering to legal, compliance, and banking regulations. Kaitlyn also worked part-time in her father's Family Law practice, Law and Mediation Offices of Thomas D. Wright, for a number of years.
Kaitlyn is a fifth-generation Sonoma County native and was one of the last graduating classes from Ursuline High School in Santa Rosa. In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, playing softball, and hiking with her dog.
